I don't like to categorize myself as a candid/photojournalistic photographer. I love to capture personalities of my clients. When I look through my camera, that is when the artistic side of me comes out. Capturing personalities is what makes a photo, a photo.

On Saturday I photographed the sweetest newborn girl. I photographed her mom’s maternity session back in November. She was sound asleep when I arrived. Of course, as soon as I try to switch out the background, she woke up. Wide awake! That’s ok though, I was happy to get some sleepy pictures of her. Here are a few images from her session.
I’ve been so busy over the holiday that I forgot to post my last session of 2009!
Meet “S”. Isn’t he handsome? He was a lot of fun to photograph! What a way to end the 2009 season!
I haven’t shared any photos in a while, so I’d thought I’d share this one. It was an assignment for Pittsburgh Parent Magazine. This one didn’t make the cut because it was too green outdoors. They wanted something more indoor or a fall setting.
9 months old has to be one of my favorite ages to photograph. I finally made it down to photograph little “W” last night. Earlier this week when I got there, I realized I left my camera at home, so we had to reschedule. Here are a few images from his session.
Deadline to order prints in time for Christmas is on December 16th. I will be placing all final orders with the lab on December 17th in order to meet the Christmas deadline. GET YOUR ORDERS IN ASAP if you need them for Christmas!! If you don’t need them before Christmas, you can take your time placing your order. I will be unavailable December 14th and 15th.
I had 2 sessions on Sunday. What a great day, besides the Steelers losing AGAIN! Seriously!?!? Oh, and thanks to Jason for giving me a beer for the last 2 minutes of the game! LOL

I am totally booked up for the remainder of December.
I will not be taking any sessions between December 13, 2009 and January 1, 2010. I will be taking some well deserved time off and to spend time with my family during this holiday season. Sessions will resume back on January 2, 2010. Have a safe and happy holiday!
